SoloStats TOUCH is designed to allow you to track stats during practice and tryouts. It is similar to SoloStats 123 and LIVE but has a more flexible, free form structure.
Stats are saved to WebReports where you can see a variety of reports aggregated the way you want.
Sync TOUCH stats with video in SoloStats VIDEO and filter to any player with any action. Sync in seconds, break down videos immediately without any editing.
You can also use TOUCH as "satellite" stat takers to track in-rally touches simultaneously with SoloStats 123 or LIVE during a match. Use as many additional stat takers to split the effort tracking digs, hits-in-play, blocks-in-play, set ratings and free ball quality.
SoloStats TOUCH setup:
Create a list of players - this may or may not be a Roster since Tryout participants are just Players
Create an Event - This could be a Tryout or a Practice Day
Create an Activity - this could be a Drill or Even a Scrimmage
Assign the players who will participate
Select the stats that you will track
For Example - Serve Receive Stats
Players - OHs, DSs, Liberos
Stats - Rec 1, Rec 2, Rec 3, Overpass
Begin Stat Capture
Setup for Taking Stats
Launch SoloStats Touch Select Capture Stats Log into your account
Player List
Create your Player List - tap NEW
Enter your player information. The Group Name might be your team if this is a practice. It could also be a tryout - Day 1 - 14s Tryout Players
When done, press Save, the press Go to Events
Events
Press New to setup a new Event
Enter the name of the event. If it's a practice - name it something like "Thursday Practice"
Once you've entered the information, tap Save and then Go to Activities
Activities
Press New to setup a new Activity
Taking Stats
Tap the player who made the contact
Add a Name for the Activity. This is a Serve Receive Drill example. Then tap Add next to Players.
Tap the players you want in the drill. Then tap the close box.
To add the stats you want to track, tap Add next to Action Buttons
Locate the button group. Below you will see a view of each group.
. The General Touch is if you are just tracking any touch by player. This is very helpful for indexing video from practice so that you can easily access a players practices for review after practice.
Select the appropriate buttons from Receive. Now you are ready to take stats. Tap Begin Capture.
Tap the appropriate action.
Setup for Video Sync
SoloStats TOUCH video sync:
Upload your videos to your own Youtube account. Make sure they are Unlisted.
Launch SoloStats VIDEO, locate your player list.
Go to the Setup Tab, locate the Activity
Click +Video and log into your you Youtube account
Find the right video and select OK
Start the video and play until you find the first touch stat record
